We drove up to Stratford on Saturday to pick up a replacement for my stolen bike. This is the third time I had to buy a bike to replace a stolen one in three years. Hopefully the third time is the charm and this bike sticks around — it’s a giant Giant currently guarded by the dinosaur in our yard:
We went on little bike treks around town to try out the bike. Yesterday we took our bikes to St. Jacobs to bike by the river. It was a lovely little trip: we saw chipmunks, “waterfalls,” cedar waxwings, osprey, and a tiny caterpillar that blew Devon’s mind:
The giant Giant bike does a pretty good job of pulling a toddler on adventures. We’re looking forward to bike commutes this week.
