Forest Walk

Shauna left on Sunday to look after Grandpa Brent, who’s unfortunately back in intensive care.

Devon and I spent our morning going for a long forest walk near the river. This is the first time Devon has really seen the river, and how quickly it flows by in the spring. He was delighted to throw rocks, run down the shore, help me find nettles to forage, and play with sticks.

We got home all muddy, tired, and ready for naps. In the evening, we packed our bags to be with Shauna and Grandpa Brent in Own Sound.
