When Trump won we felt like shit.
We learned to accept it over the last few months, but yesterday’s American Carnage speech made us angry as fuck. His profoundly racist campaign, morphed into an equally terrifying and inhuman presidency that threatens to harm most of the things we hold sacred: equality, tolerance, water, the very air we breathe.
While he’s not our president, we believe some thing are worth fighting for. And we want Devon to understand what’s at stake. So we went out to the Women’s March in Guelph. It was lovely seeing so many people equally concerned, and caring, and angry.
The one good thing that came out of the Trump presidency so far is the level of public engagement and global concern. And Devon had a pretty good time too, even though he’s not too sure about large crowds:
