We spent the weekend in Toronto visiting grandpa Brent, who is resting up at Toronto General Hospital. Our hotel was a short walk from the hospital, so this was Devon’s first immersive experience of big-city life. So shiny. So big.
“Wow,” he said as we drove through the skyscraper canyon on Bay St. Our hotel room looked down on the light-up billboards in the Yonge-Dundas Square, all glittery in the chilly evening
“Wow,” he said again. Toronto was all dressed up for Christmas.
Between visits with grandpa, we got to try some yummy food, run around the city, go shoe shopping, and even see Santa. Devon is pretty pumped for Christmas.
