We took a few days off after Thanksgivings to bike up and down along the Grand River. We didn’t expect the weather in October to be summer-like fantastic, and in two days, before we knew it, we biked over 100 KM up and down the watershed.
We haven’t been on long bike rides around KW in a while and we forgot how lovely some of the trails are. From right outside Cambridge to Paris there’s a pretty, uninterrupted rail trail that snakes along the river. The views are fantastic:
And heading north from our house, there are now smaller trails that zigzag to Elmira, towards the Kissing Bridge, and back to KW.
It was lovely to hear our bike wheels rush through the fallen leafs in the sun:
