May is an exciting month for us: we try to eat most of the stuff that grows in our neighbourhood. Yesterday we had a dandelion stirfry with wild garlic. The hostas are coming up in your yard, which are also (surprisingly) edible. And this weekend we’re going on a family river trip to forage for nettles and fiddleheads.
We’re looking forward to introducing Devon to a bunch of strange tastes. If he continues to like his greens, we can just set him in the yard when he’s a bit older to feed himself.
